Scraplift Sunday with Crafty Meggy

Happy Sunday everyone!! I hope you’re having a great weekend! I am excited to share this layout with you because I had so much fun making it! I was on YouTube this past week and I found a new channel to subscribe to and I have fallen in love with her videos and her style. You can find her channel here (Paper Sweetpea). I watched a layout she posted a few weeks ago and fell in love immediately and KNEW I had to scraplift it for this weeks assignment!

Isn’t it just gorgeous?!!!

When I sat down to make this layout I knew almost right off that I wanted to use Dazzlers and Texturez paints from Shimmerz. I really love how the background turned out!! I went with the colors Foiled Again and Teal Me No Lies. I LOVE it!

My husband and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary on January 3rd and we were able to go out to dinner and a movie. It was so fun! One of my goals this year is to scrapbook more current photos so I picked this one to highlight our night.

I used this ‘love’ word thicker from the Fancy Free thicker set, I believe. It was originally silver, but it didn’t match the rest of the title so I painted it black with the Licorice Stick Dazzlerz you can get in the store.

I have a few more thicker phrases from an Amy Tan collection, I don’t remember which one, but I thought they would be perfect to make a unique title.

Here’s another view of the title and photo with all the layers. One of the things I really LOVED about the scraplift layout was the layers she put behind the photos. I had fun playing around with a bunch of scraps in my stash.

I used the Gold Confetti and 2 Cool 4 U sequin mixes, as well as the Cloudy Day Felties and a Chunky Cork Star in this little cluster.

In the top left hand corner I used a few tags with the sequins and a cute little grey heart from the Heart Felties pack.
