Girly “Fru-Fru”

Hi again!  OK, besides being nuts about banners I’ve also developed an obsession for making ribbon roses.  I’ve only made a hand full so far, but I can already tell that I’m addicted.  Here are a couple pics.  You can add some Velcro to the backs and interchange them on headbands or even bracelets. You can also add pin backs and make some cute broaches!  I think mine will end up on headbands for my girls!!  AAHHH, more princess-like girly fru fru for them!

**The little pinkish rose was made out of burlap that was coated with Mod Podge, dried and die cut on my Big Shot.

The green rose was made using about 1 yard of 1.5″ wide wired ribbon.  I used a ribbon from Michael’s that had a crinkled texture running through it, which I thought would add some pretty texture to the “petals.”

The red rose was made with the same 1.5″ width ribbon, only I used about 18 inches in length.  If anyone would like instructions, please leave a comment on my blog below and I’ll either post them or email them to you!  Michael’s has this ribbon on sale this week for 50% off ~ $2.00 for the roll.
I hope you had a chance to stop by the Memory Works Blog Hop yesterday and saw all the the Memory Works TeamWorks gals.  If you didn’t, click HERE and check out the MW Blog today!
Thanks again for stopping by.
I hope you do something creative today!
