Cards with Simple Stories I Am

Happy traveling to me!! Well, happier with a little crafting mixed into my nights. The last couple evenings I’ve been working on a bunch of cards for a custom order, yippee!! My little cards on the go kit made it super simple. I should really make more of these little kits for home too. They’re lightweight, compact & still pack a punch! I’ve done them before for holidays cards, making teachers gifts and Advent calendars in the past. It’s now on my To-Do list for November!

Meanwhile, here are just a few of the cards I created with the lovely Simple Stories I Am collection. Included in my little ‘cards on the go’ kit was Neenah white cardstock, a Wink of Stella pen, Scrapbook Adhesives foam squares, CTMH Liquid Glass, Studio Calico wood veneers, The Twinery bakers twine, Scotch 2-sided tape and white shipping tags. (items are linked)

For my card below, check out that glassy looking, sparkly heart!! I layered a few swipes the Wink of Stella pen and then the CTMH Liquid Glass. I put the Liquid Glass on quite thick so I had to put it aside to dry for awhile. I really love this technique! It’s one I don’t always do on cards or layouts, but I always love the results.

Ok, just one more to show you some simple layering and just how pretty the Wink of Stella pen is!!   Thank you for spending your time with me today! Abby and I will be traveling Friday and off the grid most of the day & evening. ✈️ See you very soon!!
