I used some Prima watercolor pencils and Jane Davenport Mermaid Markers to watercolor in this pretty Jane Davenport face stamp, and then added a resist watercolor sentiment coloured in with Ken Oliver Color Burst powders.
Inside, I used a lovely stamp from the Pink and Main Believe Stamp set! I love the sentiments on this set. I added some beautiful sequins around the sentiment, and now it’s ready to give to a special girl!
Here’s a look at the video where I put it all together!
Hello my fellow crafty peeps! Have you ever found a photo and did not want to scrap it? Well I did, for years I did not want to scrap the photo below, but I finally decided to do it this time around. It is a photo of my husband and me during our martial art years…Lol. This is just too funny!
I used a few products from the Spiegelmom shop and I even altered a wood veneer! Take a look below.
Here is another close up of the altered title, which I used some AcriTonez in white from the SpiegelMom Shop! I used 2 coats and then I used some stickles to give it some sparkle and some washi tape to keep a straight line while painting on the wood veneer. The white acrylic star is from one of my Felicity Jane kits.
A touch of journaling to give it a short story about the photo.
Here is another close up of those beautiful sequins…you must get these, they are awesome! The mist I used is called Blue Jeans Vibrez and that is also in the Spiegelmom Shop. The rubber embellishment is from my Felicity Jane kit along with the papers.
Thank you for stopping by and be sure to get to the Spiegelmom Shop for some goodies of your own. Oh and be sure to use the code Felicia15 to get 15% off your first order! Have a great and marvelous day!
Hello! Welcome! I seem o be on the black and white photo kick again. This time I used some black and white elements on the page with just a little pop of color added on along with some black and white papers. Included on this layout, which I think makes the layout is the Wedding Bells sequins by Spiegelmom Scraps. Take a look!
I just love how this turned out! I cut the title and the tag from a cut file from a kit. Once I did that I used some of the rubber embellishments from my kit.
I love how these sequins look on this layout against the black and white paper and embellishments. Versa Fine ink is what I used to stamp the elements on the page including the darker circles.
With the title nestled in with some cut files and rubber embellishments, it helps it stand out with just the right amount of color on the layout.
Then I journaled within the circles that are on the layout.
Thank you for stopping by and be sure to check out the Spiegelmom Scraps shop for the Wedding Bells sequins that I used for this layout, which shows how I put it all together. Also check out the video that I have so you see how it all came together! Take care!
Happy Sunday everyone! I’m so excited that 2015 is here and I’m kicking it off by sponsoring a $25.00 prize frommy Etsy Shopover at the Creative Scrappers Challenge Blog. Here’s one of the fabulous sketches you can play along with this month. All you need to do for a chance to win is create a layout based on one or both of these awesome CS sketches, Sketch 285 and/or 286, and and link it up!That’s a whole lotta scrapbooking goodies my friends! And here is the layout I created based on the sketch.
The super cute triangles on my layout are from Creative Embellishments and such a fun element on my page. Just like a lot of chipboard, it comes a plain brown. I really wanted to use it, but it needed it to be softer and not a hard brown color. So, I turned to my embossing powders and heat gun to tackle this chore. I chose the triangles I wanted on my layout and pressed them into my Versamark Ink pad to get them nice and sticky. Then I poured my Ranger white embossing powder over them, then heat set them. I have a video coming soon on how I did this also. Here are some close ups!
Thank you so much for spending your time with me today! Be sure to watch my YouTube channel for my next video to be live very soon.

Also coming soon is my new logo & Design Team reveal!! So exciting!
I love this sketch for a few reasons. First of all, the title is right smack in the middle of the layout which I rarely do. Second, it splits to photo collages in opposite corners of the layout. This can be interpreted in so many ways: lots of layering, big or small photos, etc.
Here are some close-ups of my layout. You can easily see that I scattered a mixture of sequins from my Etsy Shop diagonally across my layout. I used the flat silver sequins from this mixed metals pack HERE and the Dark Aqua sequins. I conducted a little experiment this time. I usually go between using my Aileen’s Tacky Glue and Scrapbook Adhesives Dodz to stick my sequins onto my cards and layouts. This time I used both to compare them side by side. The flat silver sequins are adhered with tacky glue and the dark aqua sequins are adhered with my favorite Dodz (glue dots). So we’ll see how this page holds up to our daughter paging through our 2014 family scrapbook!
Check out the glitter filled Amy Tangerine heart in the photo below! I created this look by filling the inside of the foam heart with tacky glue, then carefully filling it in with a fabulous glitter from Stampin’Up!. After it dried, I shook out the excess glitter over a scrap piece of paper and put it back into the container. I think this particular glitter was discontinued awhile ago from Stampin’ Up!, but there are more beautiful glitters available now. If you’re interested, please check out my friend EricaRose’s Stampin Up! Page HERE. She’s just fantastic!
