Hello everyone, Mandi here with my last post. This time it is an anniversary card that features May Arts Burlap String, Tutti Frutti Dazzlerz Texture Paste, Chunky Cork Hearts, Sunny Smiles, Silver Stardust Sequin Confetti and Gold Stardust Sequins.
I thought painting have of the hearts with the Dazzlerz was a great way to add a little extra wow. When the paste is wet apply the sequins. I just sprinkled them on to the surface and pressed them in with a stick.
I love who this card looks even when it is laying sown flat. The sequins on the top and the cluster at the bottom adds a lot of drama without the bulk.
Thanks for stopping by and having me as a guest for this month.
Hi everyone, Mandi here for your Tuesday Talent series. Today, I will be focusing on the Natural Burlap String , Navy Blue Burlap String , Gold Sequin Confetti and Silver Stardust Sequin Confetti products. The pattern paper I used on this card was from Fancy Pants “Good Fellows” collection. All of these are going to be used on a fun shaker card, which just happens to work for a guy’s birthday. We all know it is hard to make a fun guy card.
The shaker frame was so easy to make.
- Adhered a piece of plastic (I used a piece of a page protector) to the backside of the chipboard frame.
- Attached foam tape (I didn’t have any so I used foam squares) alone the four edge.
- Place sequins inside.
- Stamp image/sentiment to pattern paper that is the same size as frame
- adhere backing to frame.
To adhere the cork shapes, I applied adhesive to them with the x sticker maker from Xyron. I then laid the the cork stickers on top of the string, this acted as a tape to attached the string.
Thanks for stopping by and I hoped I showed you that sequins / shaker boxes can be used on guy cards.
