I’m super excited to have Juliana Michaels as Tuesday’s Talent here at SpiegelMom Scraps! She is one busy lady this month, and we are very lucky to have her here twice! I’ve been a fan of Juliana since we ‘met’ via social media last year through this amazing hobby. (Seriously, where would we be without social media these days!!) Her digital cutting files are fabulous and have helped push me outside of my creative comfort zone. Last year I purchased a Silhouette Portrait die cutting machine and really enjoy adding this element into my scrapbooking. If you haven’t ‘met’ Juliana before you can find her blog, Instagram and Facebookall linked up for you right here. Juliana is also teaching for Big Picture Classes this time around, which is fabulous!! Be sure to follow her on social media and subscribe to her newsletter! Please give Juliana a warm welcome and enjoy her first post as Tuesday’s Talent!
Hello everyone, this is Juliana from17turtlesand I’m so happy to be here guest designing forSpiegelmom Scrapsand her fabulous Etsy Shop! I just loved the awesome colors in the Blue Lagoon Sequins and was inspired to create a beach themed layout because of them.
To go along with my layout I also created a summer themed digital cut file and I’m sharing that cut file with all you Spiegelmom fans! You can download the cut file here: Hello Summer Fun | Downloadable Cut File
I sprinkled the Blue Lagoon Sequins onto my layout and then adhered them using Glossy Accents. I also sprinkled in some of the Super Star Cork! Together they reminded me of the beach – the sequins for the water and the cork stars for the sand!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you enjoy the free digital cut file. I’ll be back again next Tuesday to share another layout I created using some more fun embellishments from Spiegelmom Scraps Etsy Shop! Don’t forget you can save 15% by using code: JULIANA15.
Hi, there, scrappy friends….I hope everyone had a fun weekend. Are you ready to start scrappin’….I bet some of you already have. Here is what I have been up to. I decided to create another pocket page for one for one of my scrapbooks. As always, it was fun playing with my embellishments from SpiegelMom Scraps Ok, let’s get started. Here is the completed layout; then, I will get into the details.
It is always fun scrapping pics of my kids when they were younger. I definitely have plenty of those pics to scrap yet. This is great for Jody’s 15 minutes a day plan 🙂 Speaking of a plan, here is the first detail I wanted to include. It was fun watching my children together as they shared my daughter’s 7th birthday.
Oh, and I just love the heart with all of those lovely sentiments. I really like the way it fits in the pocket so nicely.
Well, you know how much I adore the sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps….I had to use them on this layout, too. Before I show you the detail shot, I would like to share how sequins have become a part of our home. My hubby found some on the floor in our kitchen and and asked me if I needed these. I told my hubby that I definitly did….I think he gets the picture….really, what kitchen floor doesn’t need a bit of sparkle, right?
I really had good time creating this layout. I sure hope that you have some time for creating yourselves this week. Oh, I would love to hear!! I will be back next week with one more project as SpiegelMom Scraps GD for June. It’s been great!!
