Hello scrapbook friends! Welcome to the Spiegelmom Scraps blog for today inspiration layout. I was able to incorporate a few great products from the shop in this layout including some Shimmerz mists, a gold dollie, and A Mermaid’s Tale sequin pack. The colors in the sequins played off the colors in my great photo of my mother and I during Thanksgiving.
I started with a beautiful cut file that has multiple 3D flowers on it. I backed it with a bright blue colored card stock. The blue leaves pop against my photo. The painting in the photo my mom and I created to replicate on from Z Gallery. Its has rich blue colors as well.
I then took Jeni B Bleu Shimmerz mist and splattered the ink on some of the flowers along with Gold Color Shine.
I then used a print and cut file from Wilna, that was sitting on my desk. I layered the pieces over a gold dollie. The florals in this die cut were a great contrast to the blue and white base i was working with. I then used ephemera from Open Book by Maggie Holmes to fill in some the space. I also added a few chip board elements from the Confetti line by Maggie Holmes as well.
My title was from a phrase thicker pack in my stash along with the two thin blue ribbons I used in opposing corners. Added more detail to the layout with the addition of purple and blue sequins from The Mermaid’s Tale pack. Those details finished off my layout. Hello Scrapbook friends! Welcome to the Spiegelmom Scraps blog for daily inspiration from our amazing design team. Today, I have a Christmas themed layout using star cork pieces, gold dollies and Holly Berry Sequins featured on this layout.
I am scrapping a fun photo from Christmas day. We had the self timer on and everyone had to make a funny face. I love each and everyone of these funny faces more and more everyday. I am thankful for my family. I used scraps of paper from doing my December Daily.
Details were added with sequins on the vertical strips of paper, Holly Berry. I layered a gold dolly behind my photo for more gold details. I loved the kraft colored tag and thought the star cork pieces would bring more of the kraft color to my layout.
Happy Holidays. If you make a purchase at the shop, use Evi15 for a discount off your purchase. Thank you for stopping by.
Hello scrapbooking friends! I am your designer for two layouts in a row. I played around with some mixed media products for todays layout as well. Yesterday’s layout I used the remains of the cut file and today I am using all the lovely snowflakes from the lovely cut file.
I heat embossed some of the snowflakes with white and opal embossing powders while the rest I left plain bright white. The patterned paper is from the Deck the Halls collection from American Crafts.
I applied gesso in a diagonal and applied mint and light blue mists from my stash with the packaging technique. The colors blended well together. The silver large snowflakes are from the Dollar Tree window decals.
I adhered all the embellishments in a diagonal along with my photo. For added detail I added sequins from Holly Jolly pack. The white tag was added to hold my journalling.

Hello scrappy friends! Welcome back to the Spiegelmom Scraps blog for some inspiration. For todays layout I used the free cut file available to everyone to download. Its has an arrangement of snowflakes and I used both parts of this cut file. I used the stencil portion for this layout and on tomorrow’s layout I use all the cut out snowflakes.
I first started this layout by misting gold and beige mists onto the cut file and let it dry. I backed the cut file with a patterned paper from a paper pad from Michaels called North Pole gazette. The patterned paper is striped with different patterns. It worked well just peeking out from behind the snowflakes.
I took a few of the snowflakes and heat embossed them with black and red glitter. I cut large letters from a scrap piece of wood grain patterned paper and made the word ‘Cute’ for my title. The sequin pack called Coffee Break to add detail to the letters.
I used my Starbucks cups and my circle punches for some more red embellishments to the layout. The red punch of color add to the layout.
I am scrapping two current pictures of my two doxies hanging out this holiday season. I could not get them to sit together but I had two descent ones of them separate. lol. Remember if you use my code Evi15 at checkout you will receive a discount on your purchase.
Hello Scrapbook ladies! Its the holiday season and I know I should be scrapping photos from the holidays but I have not begun my decorating or festivities yet. So, instead I am scrapping a simple photo of me during a Miami Hurricane football game. I live in South Florida and love the Miami Hurricanes.
I started out with white card stock and I used mists in the school’s colors or green and orange. I then layered a multi circled die cut on top using my Fineliner glue applicator.
Once they were layered I used ephemera from my stash to develop my embellishment cluster on the right of my photo. My title, Hooray, is from a Dear Lizzy collection.
True to my Spiegelmom Scrapp sequins love. I finished off my layout with green and orange toned sequins from Holiday Joy collection. I also added cork-fetti star pieces also found in the shop for more detail to my layout.

Hello Scrapbook friends! For this month, we have been playing with sketches each week. This weeks composition is structured with a circle element in the center with other embellishments. My layout stays close to the sketch this week. I am scrapping a photo of my Doxie, Kobe, at the dog park recently. I love taking him there to run around and play.
My background pattern paper came from a paper pad from Micheals called Mixed Media. It it a fabulous collection of distressed, mixed media, collage and stenciled background papers. Some have speciality featured like gold embossing, glitter details or texture.
I started out with white modeling paste and a circle stencil from Dina Wakely. I then used a weave stencil from Prima with 3D gloss gel and sprinkled brown glitter over it before it dried. Most people would have stopped there, but I added Black Lava paste through a polka dot stencil randomly around the page.
I drew the circles freely to resemble the sketch. I used a Zig vellum writer with a bold tip. I then layered my photo with glassine bags from the Spiegelmom Scraps store and a few dollies. I have the embellishment pack from Maggie Holmes’s Open Book that I layered heavily for the layout.
My added detail to the layout are confetti cork stars and sequins from Mocha Mint Dream. I love the added detail around the circle elements.

Hello Scrappy peeps! Welcome back to another layout done by yours truly. This month we will be following wonderful sketches provided by my lovely design team, I hope you are playing along. I took this weeks sketch literally and used butterflies as my focal embellishment.
The cut file is from the Silhouette Design studio as a 3D butterfly that I cut out multiply times. I used patterned paper from Maggie Holmes Bloom for the butterflies and the wood grain on the right side. I layered dollies underneath my photo from the shop.
I used ‘Sea you in the Mornin’ Dazzlers through a 12×12 stencil by TCW called Capricious. Remember scrapbookers that Dazzlers takes a long time to dry so plan accordingly.
I added sequins from Spring Blooms for added detail to the layout. My title is from Pink Fresh Studio, Felicity Collection. I added a few butterfly cork pieces to the layout as well.
