Scraplift Sunday with a Twist
Hello scrappy friends!! This is Megan and I have a couple fun cards to share with you today. I’m not a huge card maker, but sometimes I’ll make a few at a time, so I thought it would be fun to pull out an oldish Close to my Heart catalog and find a couple cards I liked.
Here’s a photo of the one I decided to lift:
and then I got the idea to emboss my base from this one:
Here are my cute cards that I made with the inspiration from CTMH. I love them both!
I know that Father’s Day is far away, but I thought this card was super cute and my husband would like it so that’s why I went with this stamp. For the base of both cards I used the American Crafts Textured Cardstock.
I used these I Cork U hearts from the shop along with the Amy’s Sprinkles sequin mix.
You can also find the Large Shipping Tag in the shop as well as the new Shimmerz Paints Acritonez, I used Jiven Jade.
For this second card I decided I wanted to make it totally different than the inspiration from the CTMH catalog. I loved the idea of using the embossing folder. This is a cloud one I bought from Stampin’ Up. I wanted to paint the embossed card and created kind of a resist image, but the Acritones I used, dried too fast. But, I really love how it turned out!
I really love these cute Cloudy Days felites!! I think they’re one of my favorite products in the shop!!
I also used the Plum Dreamsicle sequin mix and a Close to my Heart stamp.
I hope you enjoyed seeing these cute cards!! I have a process videos that I will post below.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a great Sunday!!
