Bloom Shaker Card with Katty Miranda

Hello everyone! Welcome back! Katty here to share a fun Shaker card. I began with a circular card floral cut file from the Silhouette Studio. I fell in love with this card the moment I saw it. I am drawn to anything floral.

I used White American Crafts Textured Cardstock to cut the file. I then used some of my Shimmerz Paints to color the flowers on the front of the card. I used Coloringz in Pink Stilettos, Peachy Keen and Mandarin Mai Tai. For the leaves I mixed a Coloringz in Don’t Citron Me and a Spritz in Bamboo Leaf.

I decided to add my sentiment behind the shaker area. I used a stamp set from Teresa Collins and Heat Embossed the word “Bloom” using white embossing powder. I then filled the shaker area with the Indian Summer Mix, which are beautiful orange sequins. I also aded a border around the card using the flatback green sequins from the A Day in the Woods Mix.

I love how this turned out. It just screams Spring.
