some baby love and Peter Rabbit
Hello out there! I just wanted to stop in quick to share some baby love. Abby will be Baptized this Sunday and turn 8 weeks on Monday the 9th. Wow, have I really been off work that long?
If you’re wondering what’s going on with the Peter Rabbits sitting next to Abby. Here’s the scoop. When I was a little girl, my favorite story was Peter Rabbit. My Pa (grandpa) would read it to me when I’d spend nights at their home. It’s my favorite childhood story. Before I was pregnant with my first daughter, Sari, I knew I wanted a Peter Rabbit nursery. I scoured stores and searched on-line, finally finding what I wanted on Ebay of all places! So, I bought (almost) every Peter Rabbit thing I could get my little hands on. And of course, I just had to have these Peter Rabbit stuffed animals.. yes they are both the same, just different sizes. (I think I heard someone say ‘oh brother’ out there some where) Anyway, every week I take my girls picture in the same rocking chair with Peter Rabbit to visually measure their growth in photos. I take these pictures every week until they turn 3 months, then I take them monthly. Don’t worry, I’m still snapping away like crazy in between these staged pictures. I continued this until my girls were 2 years old (taking the offical staged picture that is). Yes, I am a picture freak and I’m proud of it! I don’t want our youngest to look back at our family albums and scrapbooks and say “where am I? How come there aren’t as many pictures of me when I was that little?” That would totally break my heart!
So, welcome to my crazy picture taking world of baby bliss! I don’t know if that made any sense, but oh well, LOL. Abby finally fell back asleep after having the biggest spit up of her life and it’s 1am!

Abby is absolutely gorgeous. Enjoy yourselves on Sunday! All too soon she will be driving, then wedding bells…seriously! My babies are now 34 and 40–in the blink of an eye!
