Mother’s Day Photo Shoot

Well, this year my Mother’s Day photo shoot did NOT go as planned.  But, I’m kind of glad it didn’t because now I have this layout to show just how stubborn our Sari can be (yup, she is her Mother’s Daughter!)
I used some great papers from My Mind’s Eye~Penny Lane (previous Memory Works Kit), American Crafts Kraft Cardstock, brown burlap string and green burlap looped string (coming soon to My Etsy Shop), Wood Buttons (My Etsy Shop), Tim Holtz Adage Tickets (current Memory Works), brown crochet trim, green mulberry papers, Sunflower Perfect Pearls by Ranger and 1 copper heart from Making Memories (a few years old).
If you have any mulberry paper, use it!!  I used a watercolor pen from Stampin Up! to ‘draw’ my wet lines, cirlces or whatever shape I want.  Then after it’s nice and wet, just tear it.  It’s great to adding texture & depth to your projects!  I also sprayed a couple of the cirlces for my tree with the Sunflower Perfect Pearls for little shimmer.
Have a safe & wonderful Memorial Day Weekend everyone!
