Inspiration

Hello all!  I’m super excited this month and here’s why.  My Website Inspiration is now published on the Memory Works Website!!  This month I was thrilled to get the fabulous new Authentique Curiosity collection as well as one of  my fav manufacturers My Minds Eye layered stickers & brads from the Bluebell collections available now!  My complete supply list and instructions are published on the Inspiration page of the Memory Works Website.  I created a card for Hannah’s teacher, a layouts about Sari and a 6×6 canvas for Sari & Hannah.

You’ll see the shipping tag layered under the pretty MME Layer Sticker along the right side of Sari’s photo.  I used some of my ‘old school’ alpha punches to punch an A R I in the tag next to the letter block S to create her complete name.  The tree was cut using my Cricut Graphically Speaking cartridge with Kraft cardstock and inked with Walnut Distress Ink.

Check out the Studio Calico Wood Veneer Camera on the left side!  I made a lens for the camera with one of the MME Brads.  This added more depth to my layout and balanced out the layered sticker tabs around Sari’s photo.

You can get a 6×6″ canvas at Michael’s, Hobby Lobby or any other arts crafts store.  These are super fast to create, depending on how putzy you want to be with your placement.  The canvas took less than an hour (not including the drying time for the ink on the canvas).  You’ll see some doily love here, along with the MME Brads and Layered Stickers.  I added some teal seam binding from my stash and my fav May Arts Burlap String available HERE.

Here’s the card I created using some scraps from my layouts..  yes, I did more layouts than what’s on the website 🙂  I’ll post those a little later.

I’m loving the Studio Calico Wood Veneers!  They are so versatile.  Leave them plain, color them with markers, ink or paints, use them as a mask.. oh I could go on!  In short, get some HERE.  There are more new wood veneers coming to my shop this week!

Thanks for stopping by everyone!!  I’ll be back soon with a couple more layouts from these two new lines.
