Here’s my eco-friendly project. I always try and upcycle the packaging to my embellishments, which is what I did here. This shadow box was created with lots of Hobby Lobby & Memory Works products. The packing I upcycled was from the pretty white Prima Flowers on the layout. The flowers come in a clear plastic package with an acrylic base with white doilies on it.. super cute and so usable!!!
Here’s little bonus for you!  I’m offering a little giveaway on my blog today.  All you need to do is follow me and leave me a comment about how YOU are being eco-friendly, you’ll be entered to win an assortment of alphabet stickers from vendors like Basic Grey and more!
Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great day hopping along!

Love your frame! It’s so pretty! I use all sorts of things for upcycling-product packaging, plastic bags, newspapers, tags from new clothes.

Jody, it is a pleasure getting to know you through our mutual friend, Danielle. I love the frame that you created….it’s so very pretty; especially the flowers! Thanks for sharing!

I love using stuff from my stash a lot!! Also, if I find anything like a cereal box or an empty container that can be used for scrapping, I claim it right away.

Thanks for visiting my blog and your sweet comment, too! I really appreciate it!!

Oh, BTW, I am know a follower of your blog! Yayyy!!

Hi, Jody! Love your project! I believe I have that exact frame, so you have inspired to to work on that today! I have been a long-time e-mail follower of your great blog (love that you just show up in my inbox and I don’t even have to remember to go check!). At my scrap table, I often repurpose packaging, use almost 100% scraps in all my cards, and am working to use less adhesive! In our home, we recycle all cans, glass, plastic and paper! Thanks for the opportunity to win your sweet blog candy!

We recycle what we can – plastic bottles, aluminum, steel, etc. We have chickens and the bedding gets cleaned out a couple times a year and we use that as mulch/fertilizer so we don’t have to buy either. In crafting, I save just about every scrap paper and find uses for most of them.

Another beautiful creation! You’ve inspired me to get some shadow boxes and try this. I do like to upcycle packaging and punch out shapes from those Kraft-colored coffee cup wraps.
