Shimelle Scaplifting!!!

Hello everyone!! This week we are scraplifting Shimelle and I’m here to share with you what layout of hers I chose to use and my scraplift of it.

Here’s the layout I created!

I pulled out a past scrapbook kit from The Fairytale club and decided to use it for this scraplift, I thought it went well with my photos that I had decided to use. Now thats the 1st thing I changed about this layout, I used 2 photos instead of one and I know Shimelle likes to scrap her photos in color, but I dont always like doing that. So I decided to use snapchat photos of me and my girls, using a filter that added cute little pink flowers to our heads.

I started with the background, I chose one of the papers that was just black and white and pulled out my watercolors and went to painting the flowers. I cut that down and added it to the bottom of the layout where she had the bold chevron paper. And instead of another patterned paper I pulled out some of the pretty purple washi tape I had got from the Spieglemomscraps shop and did three different lines of it to make the seperation and a bigger pop of color.

I added some layers behind my photos, I didnt add as many layers as Shimelle, I added some of mine in with different embellishments and fussy cut elements.

I moved to the lower right corner of the layout to start the cluster there and decided to use that cute Hi tag instead of journaling. There wasnt much to journal about here really, thats why I chose to use the tag. We have tons of snapchat pics and there just us messing around and having fun. I added in the heart, a documented sticker and a few other pieces and them moved back to the title.

I knew I wanted my title to be a bit longer like Shimelles is, so I pulled out one of my scripty font alphas and a large cork ampersands from the shop and added my title.

To finish everything off I pulled out my beautiful sequin packs, Ferris Wheel, Steal My Heart and Sparkle Power. I feel like these add everything the layout needs! The teals and blues from Ferris wheel are just beautiful along with the textures on them! And the little gold stars from Steal my heart are a nice pop of gold along with the pretty pink in white! All of them are so gorgeous!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Sarah
