You Are My Sunshine by Sarah

Happy Monday to everyone!  It’s Sarah on the blog today with a super quick and fun 8.5×11 layout and Youtube video!  This is my second installment of “Shake It Mondays!”  You can watch the video here:

And here is the layout I made for today!

I had a great 4×6 black and white picture of my youngest daughter from last April I wanted to use.  We were on our boat and it was a cloudy day, but her giggles brightened the day!  I started my layout with a piece of 8.5×11 white textured card stock and a 6×8.5 piece of acetate from Bella Blvd.  I sewed the acetate onto my card stock and filled it with a half a pack of Pinkie Pie Pinks Sequin MIx.

I layered a few pieces of leftover patterned paper from Citrus Twist with a Paper Lace Doily and a Large Glassine Bag.  I used several foam squares under my photo to add dimension.

I added a Medium White Shipping Tag for some hidden journalling.  Then I grabbed a few Cloudy Days Cork and Felt clouds and a couple pieces of the Chic Tags Cloud 9 Wood Veneer.  I made two separate clusters of the clouds and embellished with Webster’s Pages enamel shapes and a few Kaisercraft gems from my stash.

And finally I used a chipboard “You” from Maggie Holmes Confetti collection for the title.  I typed the rest of the title on my typewriter and glued it on with Glossy Accents.
