Talent Tuesday

Hello everyone its Heather here for your talent Tuesday! I hope you all are having an amazing day! This month I was asked to be a guest designer for SMS! I am so excited to share some of my projects using the amazing products you can find in the shop. This month’s mood board and theme was 80’s and 90’s! Well I was born in 1987 so i don’t really remember anything from the 80’s and not a whole lot from the early 90’s. But I do remember the the boy band craze and it was in full force in the 90’s! So I decided to do a layout with all of the boybands from the 90’s.

This layout was so much fun creating! I so enjoyed using the products from the SMS! First I used some super old Bo Bunny papers and cut them into little strips and layered some behind my photo. I printed a photo of boy bands from google. It has all the greats such as Nsync, Hanson, Boyz 2 Men, 98 degrees and many more! After cutting the strips and lining them up I used some black thread and sewed down the middle with my sewing machine. I used a sketch I found on pintrest for this layout.

Next I used the Morning Dew Drops and placed them all over the strips of paper. These Morning Dew Drops are seriously perfect! They add just the right amount of sparkle to any project! Of course I also had to use some of SMS sequins on my project! I used a mix of Sparkle Power and Purple Rain.

Then I took some of the Love U Tons in white and sprayed them with some black mist so i could bring in some more black elements to this page. I love getting the white felt because then I can make them match any project just by using some of my mists! I took on of the big ones and a small on and layered them on top of each other!

Lastly was my title! I used the Hash it out from the shop. This cork embellishments are so much fun to add a little extra something to your pages! So my title is #boybands. I love that i had the cork board paper that matched with the Hash it out! I hope you all enjoyed my layout for this week and I hope you all will head over to the shop to find all of the wonderful products in the shop! Thank you so much for stopping by today!
