Super cute embossed treat bags!

TGIF for sure!! It’s been a week from you know where & I’m thankful it’s done. Time to move into this weekend with some much needed crafty time.

A couple years ago I discovered this adorable printable a blog called Parties & Patterns. They create the cutest printable treat bag toppers & party decor. Check these sweet toppers out! All you need to do is create a free account, add them to your cart (the price is ZERO) and check out. You can print them instantly. I used plain white cardstock for mine and selected matte photo paper option when printing.  They are the perfect solution for this super busy mom who loves to send cute treat-filled goody bags to school.I filled large glassine bags with a few sweet treats, folded the toppers in half then stapled them over the top. They actually print 4 toppers, one of each color, onto one sheet of 8.5″ by 11″ sheet of cardstock.  Super easy! Here are a few other ways I love to dress up the glassine bags.  I often use various scraps & embellishments from my stash.  I thought it would be really fun to add some embossing to them too.  I love how the different embossed patterns turned out.  The white shipping tags where colored with water colors and then I topped them off with Dazzlerz texture paste by Shimmerz Paints!  I use these lovely bags to give little gifts such as set of handmade cards or tags, teacher’s gifts and extra embellishments to RAK for my lovely scrappy friends near and far.

Here are couple places to find Parties and Patterns.  I’d encourage you to check them out and use their fun printables!
