Splash Pad with Sarah

Hello SMS fans!  It’s Sarah on the blog again today and I have a fun PL spread to share with you all!  I am working hard at catching up on my PL from last year and here is a two page spread documenting a trip to the splash pad.  I grabbed my left over summer collections and a bunch of goodies from the shop and got started!  Here is my layout:

My leftover summer stash has Dear Lizzy Happy Place, Paige Evans Fancy Free and Amy Tangerine Better Together.  I started with my title card, as it will set the tone for my whole layout.  Here it is:

I added a 3×6 piece of Medium Glassine bag to a 4×6 piece of patterned paper from Happpy Place.  I sewed it on with my sewing machine.  I added a word Thicker from Amy Tangerine and some glitter Thickers from Dear Lizzy.  I embellished with enamel dots from Doodlebug and a Cork Confetti Star.

I embellished my 3×4 pictures with gold tiny word stickers from the DIY Shop.  I added a rubber charm from Amy Tangerine to the 3×4 filler card and sewed it on with my sewing machine.  I added a Cork Confetti Star to one of the 3×4 pictures and an Always Aqua Heart Feltie to the 4×6 picture.

I took some really fun pictures at the splash pad that day, and I actually didn’t embellish all of the photos in spread!  Here, I simply added a tiny word sticker and a stitched boarder to the 3×4 filler card.

I filled a Small Glassine Bag with some of the gorgeous 2 Cool 4 U Sequin Mix and sewed it shut with gold thread on my sewing machine.  I added an Amy Tangerine die cut tag on top and popped it up with adhesive foam.  I added a few enamel dots and gems, a Cork Confetti Star and a flair from Accent Scrapbooking.  I did a similar technique on a 3×4 filler card and simply added some white word Thickers and enamel dots.

I cut a 3×4 piece of Medium Glassine Bag and added it to this 3×4 piece of patterned paper from Fancy Free.  I added a word Thicker from Amy Tangerine and a pineapple sticker from Dear Lizzy.  The label is from Pretty Little Studio.

I was so excited to type my journalling with my new WRMK typewriter!  It works so well!  Here, I added a strip of Always Aqua Heart Felties and sewed it on with my sewing machine.

Here again, I tried to not over-embellish my photos and let them speak for themselves.  I simply added another flair from Accent Scrapbooking, tiny word stickers and an Always Aqua Heart Feltie that I adhered with my Tiny Attacher.

I used half of a 4″ Gold Foil Doily to createan embellishment cluster on top of on this 4×6 piece of patterned paper.  I added a camera sticker from Dear Lizzy, a brad and more gold glitter Thickers.
