Next up… my new process video and layout are up and running finally!!  We had our laptop die on Saturday… awesome right!  So, I’m a bit behind this week, especially after a leak in the basement was super close to my scrap area!!  EEKKK!   But, after a late night session I’m ready to rock and roll again!  Here’s my watercolor background layout, featuring Shimmerz Creameez watercolors!! I’m so lovin’ these watercolors!!  After creating my watercolor background (YouTube video here on how I created it), I began adding some very simple layers of Heidi Swapp Hello Today papers, cork butterflies, pink baker’s twine, Pink Fresh Studio puffy stickers, felt hearts and Dear Lizzy wood veneer ‘Best Ever’ for my title!

To create my loops of baker’s twine, I simply laid out my twine with the loops how I wanted them.  Next, I added a few dabs of Aleene’s Tacky Glue to the tops of the loops and let it dry for a few minutes.  Then, I added the baker’s twine loopy-banner onto my layout using the same tacky glue!  Pretty easy and great way to use your twine and strings!

I really love how the water color background looks!!  There’s just a little bit of shimmer in the watercolor, which is hard to see in the photos.  It’s so pretty!!

Thanks so much for spending your time with me today!  Please hop over and check out my YOUTUBE VIDEO HERE!
