Happy April everyone! Sarah on the blog today with a pocket life spread for January of 2016. I am slowly catching up and I am excited to share this layout with you today!
So here it is, Week 2:
I used some 4×6 and 3×4 cards and embellishments from the new line from Pretty Little Studio collection called Hello Heather. I always start my pocket life spreads by laying my photos out in somewhat chronological order. Then I start on my title card for the week and go from there!
I used a beautiful heart patterned 4×6 paper for my title card. Then I layered a 3.5×5.5 piece of Large Glassine Bag on top, added a third of a bag of Wedding Bells Sequin Mix, and sewed it down with black thread on my sewing machine.
I added a few pieces of ephemera, a few die cut snow flakes, Chunky Cork Heart and Blue Felt-Fetti hearts. I finished it off with a few enamel dots and gem stones.
Here, I layered a gorgeous NEW Light Pink Felt-Fetti heart on top of a lable and a die cut glitter snowflake!
This was one of my favorite cards from the spread. I used a Paper Lace Doily and added a Medium Shipping Tag. I once again added Chunky Cork Hearts and Blue Felt-Fetti Hearts. I like to use the same elements across my spreads to make it look balanced!
Here, I used a 3×4 Snap brand page flip to add more of the Wedding Bells Sequin Mix. I sewed it shut and placed it over a picture of some Powerball tickets!
On this card I made a circular die cut of a piece of Large Glassine Bag and added it to this 4×6 picture to ground the embellishments.
Thanks for stopping by today! Stay tuned to see more of my Pocket Life spreads!
