Pocket Life Week 17 with Sarah

Hello SMS fans!  Sarah on the blog today with a pocket life layout, finally!  I had lost my mojo as far as pocket life was going, but I reorganized my scrap room and got crafty!  Here is my layout for today:

I got out some new spring themed supplies from Jilibean Soup Healthy Hello and Pink Paislee Fancy Free.  I also had a few pieces of patterned paper from the Illustrated Faith She Blooms collection.

I started by making my title card.  This card will set the theme for my whole spread.  I sewed a boarder on with my sewing machine and added a 6×3 piece of Large Glassine Bag.  I hand punched circles of patterned paper and put the “Cherish” word Thicker on top.  I glued on the wood “love’ and added the “WK 17” using some old navy Thickers from my stash.

I used a 3×4 Becky Higgins Fuse pocket to make a shaker flip pocket and filled it with Pink Lagoon Sequins, Glass Slippers Sequin Mix and few seed beads from my stash.  I sewed it shut with my sewing machine.  You can also use the Fuse too to seal it shut.

I typed out my journalling on my antique typewriter and embellished with Kaisercraft rhinestones and enamel dots.

I covered a lime green 4×6 card with a 4×6 piece of Large Glassine Bag to soften the color.  I then made an embellishment cluster using a White Paper Lace Doily, a Medium White Shipping Tag and some ephemera.

I layered a puffy word sticker on top of three Cork Chevrons and embellished with a Kaisercraft rhinestone and some enamel dots.

I used a large ampersand wood veneer from the Shimelle Wood Veneers in the shop on top of a White Paper Lace Doily.  I layered an acetate piece and a puffy sticker on top of it.  I also added a hand punched tiny glitter heart.

My last card has an embellishment cluster on top of a Medium White Shipping Tag.  I used an acetate piece, chipboard and a wood veneer word.
