Make It Yours Monday~Snow Pretty

Who said quick and simple scrapping has to be boring? Today I have a simplistic layout to share with you that has a big impact! Just 2 colors, some cut files, gorgeous sequins and a great photo are all that went into this layout! Image may contain: 1 person, smiling, child

This layout started by using some of the Puttin On The Glitz Paste-eez and a snow stencil. I applied the paste-eez to a full size sheet of white cardstock, but only around the edges. No automatic alt text available.

While that was drying, I trimmed down a soft pink cardstock by 1/2″ all around. I then trimmed another sheet of white cardstock by 1/4″ less than the pink to create a boarder. I stitched these two sheets together using my sewing machine and light pink thread. Image may contain: 1 person, smiling

After I matted my photo with the same pink cardstock I used in the larger layer, I added it to the layout with some foam tape for some dimension. Next, I used the FREE Spiegelmom Scraps Flakey cut file and created my own mini snow storm, adding the die cut snowflakes from the top left corner down to the bottom right. My title went under my photo, using some white puffy alpha’s to keep semi-monochromatic look going. Image may contain: 1 person, child and closeup

No page is complete without some sparkle!! Using the Unicorns & Rainbows, I added a deep pink sequin from the mix to the center of each snowflake. The softer pinks were added around some snowflakes.  To finish up, I added the date and adhered the layout to the cardstock with the texture past.

I am surprised with myself. I usually dont know when to stop, but I love this clean and simple look!! I hope you enjoyed todays project. Check out the shop for the products I used today and so much more. Use LISA15 for 15% off ALL you purchases!! xo
