Make It Yours Monday- Hey Cutie!

Hello and welcome back to another Make It Yours Monday!! Today I had fun making one of my fellow Sparkler Design Team member’s layout’s my own! Laura had shared this amazing layout and I just knew I wanted to take it on myself…

I started by backing my white American Crafts cardstock with a sheet of piglet pink Bazzill. I then used Shimmerz Cotton Candy Spritz , Jeni B Blue Vibez, gold color shine and a lilac mist from my stash to create the splatters. After they were dry, I layered my photo on some lavender cardstock and a piece of subtle pink pattern paper, both from my scraps box. I made sure to use one of the beautiful 4″ paper doilies from the shop in between the layers behind the photo.

After the mists were dry, I took a piece of OLD pattern paper from Imaginece and tore off the bottom to make a jagged, ripped edge and adhered a piece of torn vellum to the bottom edge to give some more texture. I added this piece to the white cardstock and used foam tape to add the photo on top.

I lined my thickers along the top edge of the pattern paper to create my title, “Hey Cutie!” and added my journaling below the patterned paper block. I took some of the beautiful flat pink and cupped purple sequins from the Amore sequin mix and some gorgeous gold hearts to bring some sparkle and shine around the page
