Make It Yours Monday

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!! Thank you all for taking time from this busy day to stop and check out my project this week!

I decided to dig into last Halloweens photos and use one of the 2 girls together and the one with me! I LOVE making sure I’m IN the photos now, and so do they.

I started my layout with a piece of ivory cardstock and misted it with Pretty in Pink and Mandarin Mai Tai coloringz as well as a bit of Gold Color Shine.

Doodlebug Ghouls & Goodies had the right colors to coordinate with my photos, so I cut and adhered 2 2″ strips on the left side and joined them with a piece of gold washi tape. I matted my photos on some pink and purple cardstock. A purple banner and some orange pattern paper were layered under the photo’s. I edged everything with black soot Distress Ink. I popped up the whole photo cluster on some foam tape and positioned it on the layout.

It was fun mixing up my alpha stickers to create my title. A combination of websters pages, jillybean soup and thickers made for a festive mix! A bit of gold/orange washi as well as some candy corn tape divided the bottom and the title nicely.

The sequins at the top were meant to resemble a star dust trail, sweeping through the night sky. A mix of Jack O Lantern, and Lets Be Mermaids were the perfect touch! I love how versatile the sequin mixes are, and they dont have to always be use as intended!!! I inked the edges of the entire layout with the black soot ink and decided to add some of the shapes from the thickers pack.
