Make it Yours Monday

Good Morning everybody and welcome to another Make it Yours Monday. This weeks layout was inspired by a birthday party we went to during the summer. They had the cutest confetti and sequins spread on the table and I just loved the way the looked!

This is one of the thing I wanted to do with Make It Yours Monday. Inspiration can come from ANYTHING!!!

I started my layout with a piece of white American Crafts Textured White Cardstock.   I ran a strip of paper from my scrap box (I believe it is from the She Blooms collection) I matted my 2 side photos on pink cardstock and adhered them strait to the page. The center photo I used a piece of patterned paper and popped it up on some foam adhesive to make it stand out.

Behind the main photo, I also used a Medium Glassine Bag and a Shipping tag for a journaling pocket. I also used a piece of Pink bakers twine, also from the shop, to finish the tag off.

After all the photos were set and my journaling was done, It was time for the fun part, embellishing!!!  I used some nuvo drops and the beautiful Pinks from the Spring Blooms mix to created the look of the confetti from the table that day…

I punched a few butterflies and put some on foam squares, to add some dimension to them. I added my title, which is my youngest daughter swinging some, “Im Happy and Free and I Love to Be Myself!” I love watching her swing and sing and I how colorful and fun this layout is to reflect her personality!!!
