Happy Mail Flip Book with Sarah

Welcome everyone to a very unique post from me!  Today I am sharing a Flip Book that I made for a Happy Mail group that I am in!  If you haven’t heard of a Flip Book before, they are simply three envelopes stuck together to form a sort of book that you can fill with goodies and send to your scrappy friends!  Here is mine:

I started with three 5.5×5.5 craft envelopes from Hobby Lobby and added some of the My Minds Eye Her Story ephemera and a bunch of goodies from the SMS shop!  I lines the envelopes with coordinating papers from my stash.

I filled each pocket with something different.  Here you can see that I filled this one with ephemera, 3×4 cards and some of the Medium White Shipping Tags.  I embellished this one with half of a 6″ Gold Foil Doily, ephemera, die cut leaves and some Kaisercraft gems and pearls.  I also gave it a heavy splatter of Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold.

This is the back of the Flip Book and I didn’t want to leave it bare, so I just splattered some Heidi Shine and added some ephemera!  I layered on a Forever Love Cork Heart and a die cut leaf.

Here I created a pocket with a piece of Large Glassine Bag.  I cut the bag down to the size I needed and sewed it onto a smaller piece of patterned paper.  I filled it with tags, ephemera, and a Studio Calico Bubble Phrase Wood Veneer.  I embellished with a Forever Love Cork Heart.  I also coated a Wood Mini Clothes pin in gold ink and added it to a tag.

I tucked a baggie full of Peachy Sherbet and Glass Slippers Sequin Mixes in this pocket along with a handmade tassel.  I embellished with another gold coated Wood Mini Clothespin and old Thickers from my stash.

Here I used a Lace Paper Doily and added ephemera, a die cut flower, a Forever Love Cork Heart and a metal butterfly from Maggie Holmes.  I popped the arrow up on some 3D Foam Squares.  I stuck a small baggie of cork shapes, 3×4 cards and another handmade tassel in this pocket.  I also gave it a heavy dose of Heidi Shine, gems, pearls, and a few Peachy Sherbet Sequins.
