Getting The Most Out Of A Collection!

Good morning SMS fans!  Sarah on the blog today with a fun and quick 8.5 x 11 layout.  I was recently going thru the last of my fall themed scrapbooking and Project Life supplies and I came across two lonely pieces of 12×12 paper from Pink Paislee’s Cedar Lane collection that I forgot about.  I found the last few pieces of ephemera that I had from the kit and grabbed my goodies from SpiegelMomScraps.

This layout came together so quickly and easily!  Thanks to my supplies from SMS, I was able to stretch the last of my Cedar Lane pieces and get one last project done with them.  I grabbed the 12×12 sheet and cut it down to 8.5×11 and cut a sheet of textured white card stock down to 8×10.5.  I stitched the papers together and added a few splats of Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Cracked Pistachio and Worn Lipstick.  

I really wanted to use the Wood Mini Clothes Pins to “hang” the pictures, so I got a short length of twine and added a few pop dots to the backs of the pictures.  I also cut a White Lace Paper Doily in half and tucked a half behind each picture.

I glued on a couple of the Chunky Cork Hearts and layered on die cut glitter leaves.  I tucked a few enamel dots under the layerd pieces.

I used brown chalk ink to ink one of the Amy Tan Frames and tucked it behind the picture on the right to add dimension.  I used the EZ-Runner Grand to adhere everything down and added my title, and I was done!
