Hello SMS fans! It’s Sarah on the blog today with an 8.5×11 layout using my last two pictures from our Door County vacation! Here it is:
I started with a 12×12 piece of American Crafts Textured White Cardstock from the shop and cut it down to 8.5×11. I grabbed my final few bits from Maggie Homes Gather and, of course a bunch of goodies from the shop, and got started!
I started by cutting out this wreath cut file on my Silhouette using more of the American Crafts Textured White Cardstock. I also cut a circle of vellum using my Silhouette, making sure that it was just the same size as the inside of the wreath. I filled the vellum with some of the Peachy Sherbet Sequin Mix and a bit of chunky iridescent glitter from my stash. I sewed the vellum circle shut using gold thread on my sewing machine.
I used my Evolution Advanced manual die cutting machine to cut out a bunch of leaves using scraps of the patterned papers from Gather and my Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves Die. I also cut a few out in vellum. I sewed on a few of them using metallic gold thread on my sewing machine.
I added my title using some gold letter stickers from Michael’s. I also added a WRMK Typeset label and some Heidi Shine in Gold.
I layered my two 3×4 photos on top of a Gold Foil Doily and tucked a Medium White Shipping Tag behind it. I also added a tassel from Gather on a gold paper clip. I used my EZ Runner Grand to adhere the photos.
Finally, I embellished with some gold glitter enamel dots, a few Kaisercraft gems and more of the Peachy Sherbet Sequin Mix.
I hope you enjoyed my latest 8.5×11 layout! I am really enjoying this size of layout! See more from me on the blog next week!
