Dancing Leaves with Ali

Hiya friends! Hope you are having a fabulous Sunday! Today I am sharing a TN spread!

I am so excited about getting into the Traveler’s Notebook craze, I am so addicted already. My scrapbook layouts are often about my kids or our lives, but I have decided to make my TN about me, my thoughts, and how I am feeling. Like a journal, of sorts.

I created this spread with a photo of the shadows the leaves left on the sidewalk.

My main focus was on the journaling, especially because the photo was a little…blah. But I knew what I wanted to say went with the photo. Being a mom has me frazzled most days. I am always (over)thinking about the things that need to be done, how much time I have to do everything, and often there is little time for reflection. I forget to slow down. It isn’t until I am scrapping an older photo of my kids and I realize how fast time is flying by…my journaling reflects my heart’s desire to treasure each moment, even tiny moments, like watching shadows dance on the ground.

I added an embossed heart stamp to the photo just to cheer it up a bit. Some scraps from Pink Paislee and Pinkfresh Studio and some rose gold (obsessed) washi tape and my spread was almost good to go. The Peachy Keeny sequins were the perfect finishing touch. I love the tiny flower sequins, they make a big impact in such a tiny way! Plus, the grey and clear add bling while meshing well with just about any project! Love!!

Have you jumped on the TN train? I would love to see them! As always, don’t forget to add the sequins!
