“At The Park” with Kira

Hey everyone!  I am super excited to be here as a guest designer for Spiegelmom Scraps!  I couldn’t wait to dive right in and play with all the pretty sequins!  Here’s a look at my first layout:

I started by cutting the word “Park” on my Cricut, in four different colors of pattern paper.  Then I color matched sequins for each letter.  I chose “Southern Blue Bells” for the blue, “Because You Love Me” for the pink/red, “Sunflower Fields” for the yellow, and “Out of this World” for the teal.

I used my watercolors to add some mixed media to my background.  Then I stitched each letter directly to the paper and stitched a straight line through one area on each letter.  The I used some glue to adhere sequins down the stitched line.

I tucked my photo right below the title (it’s my youngest, at the park).  And I finished off my title with some small white foam thickers.  I embellished the page by color matching to my letters, using the new Paige Evans colleciton, Pick Me Up.

Thanks for stopping by!

Kira
