Sun-n-Fun with Evi

Hello my wonderful Scrappy friends!  Thank you so much for joining me for another fun layout using the gorgeous sequins from the Spiegelmom Scraps shop.  Today I am playing with Spring Blooms and it match perfectly with the Simple Stories current summer collection Sunshine and Happiness.

I started off with the 6×6 paper pad and cut half inch stripes of paper.  I choose to include every patterned paper in this collection.  I was inspired by a layout recently that showed this herringbone/ weaving look using multiple stripes of paper.  I tried to remember the pattern as best I can.  In order to add that added interest to my layout, I applied the Spring Blooms sequins in rows on top of my design.  This process took the bulk of my design time, but the end result was well worth it.

I did have to let this dry before I continued to add my photo and rest of my embellishments.  The sequins coordinate perfectly with this Simple Stories collection.  I added the sequins in rows parallel to the design I made.  I nearly used all 3 teaspoons of sequins for this layout.  I could have stopped mid way, but I love to make an impact with these sequins.  They are simply gorgeous to me.

I added chipboard, dies, stickers all from the Sunshine and Happiness collection.  The title Sun-n-Fun was from the Poolside collection by Crate Paper last year.  The thickers were sitting in my stash.  I hope you enjoyed my colorful layout.  Remember to use Evi15 at checkout for discount on your purchases.  I have linked my process video down below for your viewing pleasure.
