Hello Crafty Friends! Laura here today, and if you are anything like me there will be one present you have forgotten! Well, I’ve got you covered!
I’m a bit obsessed with sequins – but you already knew that! – and it stands to reason that that obsession spills over in to shaky things… shaker pockets in project life, shaker cards, shaky areas on a layout… I’ve gone one further – shaker coasters!
It takes seconds to make. 1. Grab an empty fillable coaster and a packet of sequins. 2. Fill. 3. Clip shut. 4. Ta da! I used Peachy Sherbet but any mix that doesn’t include very tiny sequins will do. They manage to work their way out somehow!
I found my fillable coasters on a promotional products website. The kind of place that sells blank keyrings, pens and badges to businesses who personalise them and give them away to customers.
Carrying on with the fabulous 12 days of discounts…

Hi all – it’s Anna Sigga here with you today and since yesterday was the First Day of Summer in Iceland I decided to create a flower power card to celebrate.
The Peachy Sherbet Sequins are so bright and cheerful and go perfectly with the flowers I chose. I added a White Lace Paper Doilies to the background and then I used a mix of glimmer mists, a stencils and light texture paste to ad some interest to the card-stock.
I just love how the Chunky Stars add just the right amount of texture and warmth to the card.

Hi Friends! Laura here to day to share a craft hack and some scrappy happenings!
I’ve had my eye on some cork hearts with gold flecks in them, but each time I’ve tried to buy them online they are sold out. I put my thinking cap on and came up with a plan to make my own… you can watch a tutorial here or in short; one pack of the gorgeous chunky cork hearts, some two way glue and some foil or gold leaf. A few dabs of the glue then add the gold leaf and hey presto!
I’m really pleased with how they turned out. I experimented with polka dots and a bigger smudge of glue too…
For my first layout today I used My Mind’s Eye’s On Trend 2 collection that came in my recent scrapbooking kit.
