I coloured the sweet little scarecrow digi images from Bugaboo Stamps and added some glittery Stickles before popping them up with foam dots on this pretty Echo Park paper – A Perfect Autumn. It’s one of my fav fall collections this year!
I love the way this little guy is peeking out of the circle! The Thanksgiving sentiment from a Pretty Cute stamps set was perfect for the banner tag.
On the back of the boxes I added a little name tag diecut from a Stitched Tag Die from Your Next Stamp and stamped with a pretty scroll stamp from the Pink & Main Thankful set.
I’ve created a process video to show you how I made these fun little boxes – You’ll also get to see what’s inside them!! They are quick and easy and would also work great for little stocking stuffers!! You can check out the video HERE or click below.
As you probably know, our June theme is a flashback to the 80’s and 90’s…. Thinking back to the eighties from a French point of view is related to an optimistic decade when everything seemed possible and America seemed to be emerging as an example to follow or to be inspired from. America appeared to be the land where your dreams may come true….And I must confess the USA made me dream a lot as a child of the 80’s!
That immediately made me want to use some of my Joli Mess’s cards and project life cards from the Cassie’s capsule. Since I had some spare frames, I decided to use three of them, and to match these cards with the Spiegelmomscraps sequins.
In the first frame, I used a “C’est possible” (It is possible) card, and match it with the Salt of the Earth sequins. For the second frame, the card says ” Ne t’arrête jamais 2 rêver” (Never stop Dreaming). I decorated it with 2 cork stars and the lovely gold stardust sequins.
The third and last frame asks us to “Imagine”, and I matched it with the Just Bleachin’ it sequins as well as cork and felt clouds). This project is very simple and can add a decorating touch in your home in less than no time!
And the good news is…. These frames can be yours! Just leave one comment below before the next Scrappy Friday (June 9th) and I’ll pick a random winner amongst all the comments!
Love from France!

I hope your holiday spirit has been extended through this weekend for NYE! I’m almost entirely done with my December Daily album.. just in time for my last-day-of-December goal.Sometimes I get so excited when the perfect photo opportunity arises, I forget to shoot in portrait and therefore have to get creative when I want to share landscape oriented pictures. I really love to create layouts in non-traditional sizes, and I’m excited to incorporate those together with traditional pocket pages in my Project Life album. Meanwhile, here’s an adorable picture of my incredibly difficult to photograph dog on a mixed media layout. I splattered my background with black acrylic paint and Shimmerz Dazzlers in I Lilac You. Once that dried, I layered some Pink Paislee Yuletide ephemera underneath my photo and added some sequins from the shop for some shine. I wanted to keep my pages consistent so I stitched the “18” from the themed cards for my album across the top. I inked a sentiment across the bottom, added some silver sequin stars, and then I was finished! So quick and easy. I love the beginning of a new year! I’m excited for where it takes me.
What are you most looking forward to in the coming year?
These days leading up to Christmas are my very favorite. I love when things slow down and we can really focus on the best details of the season. I’ve really enjoyed documenting this month! Today I’m sharing a sparkly insert I made for my album. Lots of gold and gorgeous sequins.
I was inspired to create an insert like this thanks to those gorgeous gold letters I found on clearance at Target. I adhered one to each pocket and filled them with sequins from the shop.
In the upper right pocket I created a shaker with Wish Upon A Starsequins and some chunky star cork confetti painted white. I also adhered a white star to the outside of my page protector too! I think adding things to the outside of page protectors creates some great dimension.
I filled the lower shaker pocket with Plum Dreamsicle sequins. I think this mix is one of my top favorites. LOVE! This was such a quick and easy project and I can’t wait to see how it bring everything together in my album.
I hope your Christmas season is full of joy and relaxing (and crafting!) Make sure you take advantage of today’s special 23% off your total order! Use the code 23ORDER when checking out. Merry Christmas!
I wonder if you’re all looking forward to the first weekend of December as much as I am!
You may have noticed yesterday on my blog during our hop that I began my journey into documenting December. I’ve decided that I really want to focus on the tiny details of the month that make it so special. I don’t want to get too caught up in creating during my documenting so I made several embellishments in advance. This is my alternative to foundation pages – I’m not so great at guessing how I want my final pages to look so instead I created some embellishments to add in as I go.
I started by painting a shipping tag a gray color that would coordinate well with the print on that Pink Paislee Yuletide tag. I trimmed down a gorgeous gold foil doily so that it would fit well in between. There are so many doilies in the shop that are perfect for holiday crafting (in fact, I just did a Pinterest search for ideas -so many good ones!) Once my tag was dry, I layered on some snowflake die cuts (download the FREE CUT FILE here), Yuletide ephemera stars, & sequins from the Holly Berriesmix. I topped it off with a sticker phrase from Crate Paper.
One thing I’ve found I struggle with in using 6 x 8 albums is that there aren’t pockets for horizontal 3 x 4 in the full size page protectors. I tend to photograph in landscape a majority of the time. In order to include more pictures, I created some 6 x 4 page protectors. You can save a few steps by using any size page protector that has two pockets like this. Be sure to leave margin for punching holes, holes which I forgot to punch, oops! I then use my Fuse tool to seal any edges. So easy!
One trick I like to use for lightening up my details – mixing sequins! In this shaker pocket, I wanted to use some more white to bring out the white snowflake die cuts, so I used one of the NEW sequin mix releases – Holiday Traditions & added just a pinch of Wedding Bells. I love how it turned out! Try it!
For my last embellishment, I combined Yuletide ephemera with our snowflake diecuts, and a few sequins from the Holly Berries mix. I stitched them together and I was done. It’s amazing how stitching can finish off a project.
I hope this inspired you to make some of your own holiday embellishments!

Hello everyone! Jody here to introduce a special guest ~ Alex Hunter! She joined us for the Triple Hop over Labor Day weekend and we just couldn’t get enough of her loveliness!! She’s back today to share this gorgeous layout!! Thanks so much for joining us again Alex!!
Hello everyone! I am so excited to be guest designing for SpiegelMom Scraps! Today, I will be sharing a fun and colorful scrapbook page using a few different packs of sequins.
For this scrapbook page, I wanted to base it around the shapes of the sequins so they would blend in effortlessly.
With some of the sequins, I tucked them under some of the circles and some, I left by themselves to draw some attention to them. I love the colors of the sequins and how well they worked with the scrapbook paper I used!
The yellow sequins really paired well with the floral paper and I think they look amazing on this page. Of course the light pink sequins paired well with the stripped pink paper. I love the pink sequins the most because they can probably be used with any scrapbook paper or scrapbooking supplies and still look amazing!
I also decided to add some of the tiny silver stars around the page for a little bit of interest. I really love how they look with everything else because of how subtle they are but they also catch your eye in person.
That is all for this scrapbook page! I had an amazing time guest designing and I hope you all have an amazing day!
