WINNER & Pink Paislee + Kraft + Wood

My Maggie Holmes Blog Share winner is LYNN DARDA!!  YAY LYNN!  Just pick out a SC Wood Veneer from my Etsy Shop and I’ll get your prize pack out to you this week!!

Now for a little mini album action today!  This year I’ve created several mini albums.  Normally I’m a 12×12 layout girl, but I love creating mini albums to give as gifts.  Since that season is upon us, so are the craft shows.  I’m planning on being a vendor in a local craft show in Racine, WI at St. Paul’s Church on November 9th.   So, I’m creating some giftable items and card sets over the next couple week.

I’ve been hoarding these Pink Paislee papers for over 6 months for a recent Fall mini album class at the Salem Community Library.  It was a blast to teach those ladies once again and can’t wait to schedule some more dates after the holidays!!  This mini album is another version of the one I created for class.  To make the album more sturdy I glued the pages back to back since I was just using the patterned papers as my base.  This definitely made the mini album stronger and saved me from having to cut a bunch of chipboard.

Now for the deets!!  To create all the die cuts I used my Close To My Heart Artbooking Cricut Cartridge or the Artiste Cartridge which are seriously in my top five favorite Cricut Cartridges!  I added shipping tags, May Arts brown check ribbon, glassine bagssequins and a few Lawn Fawn Wood Veneers.  Many of the embellishments are available in my Etsy Shop.

I lightly adhered the 4×4″ white squares only to show where to put your photos.  This mini would be perfect for your Instagram pics!!!  The wood veneers were perfect with these papers too.  I love how the wood tone really compliments the PP papers.  I added some Studio Calico chipboard clouds and chipboard hearts from my stash, along with some orange Bakers Twine from The Twinery.

I also love adding fun little mini pages or tags inside my mini albums.  You can easily add more journaling or pictures here.

Don’t forget to add something to the back over of your mini albums!  I call this ‘bringing up the rear!’  LOL!

Once again, thank you for spending your time here today!  Have a fantastic rest of your weekend & do something creative.  If you have any questions on the products used or the mini album itself just leave me a comment!
