Welcome Little One Layout with Katty Miranda

Hello friends! Katty here to share another 12×12 scrapbooking layout. I am truly loving working with the Spiegelmom Scraps products. I really enjoyed creating this layout. I began with a white 12×12 American Crafts cardstock. I used my new favorite stencil by Americana. It has strings of tiny hexagons. I used the awesome Shimmerz Dazzlers Texture Paste in Lemon Drop and Coral me Crazy. I also brought in a pink texture paste by Heidi Swapp. I randomly added the three colors with the stencil on the top left and bottom right of my page. I then added some beautiful sequins from the Believe in You and Peachy Sherbet sequin mixes along the string of hexagons. That completed my background. I love how it turned out.

I then took a wood veneer frame that I recently purchased at Michaels. I used inexpensive Apple Barrel acrylic paints in Tropic Orange and Yellow Flame. I used a sponge applicator and my finger to blend the two colors together. I then placed it in the center of my page and I flipped it to be in a diamond like position.

I added a gold glitter bow by Offray which I purchased at Walmart. I also added some tangled thread in peach, coral and gold which I also purchased at Walmart in two areas around the frame. I added my photo behind my frame which is a photo of my niece on the day she was born. I am holding her for the first time. For my tittle I used the Dear Lizzy golf thin puffy thickers from her Documentary collection.
