Using your tools~Punch it out!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend everyone!  I’m just popping in quick to share a layout I created for the CLIQUE KITS blog last Friday.  I used some of my favorite paper punches from Fiskars and Stampin UP! to create some fun clouds & chevron shapes from the fabulous gold foil paper from Fancy Pants Designs As You Wish collection and some thin sheets of cork.  My fabulous Stampin Up! go to girl is Erica Thompson, you can find her site HERE

I’m also linking up to a couple fun Anything Goes challenges this month!  The first one is over at Paper Wings Productions and the 2nd is on Challenges 4 Everyone!

As many of you already know, I created this fun layout with my May Clique Kit, Field Trip and absolutely LOVE it!!  We now have additional subscriptions open starting in June.  In order to get the June kit, you need to subscribe by May 28th to ensure payment processing and on time Clique Kit delivery.  To learn more about Clique Kits subscriptions CLICK HERE and to subscribe CLICK HERE.  We’d love to have your join our Clique!

And now, here’s my layout featuring the May Clique Kit, Field Trip!!

Here’s a close up of the chevrons I punched out of a cork sheet using my Stampin UP! Chevron paper punch, available now through the talented  Erica Thompson~Stampin UP!  When you’re playing with different mediums to use your punches on consider the thickness first.  These cork sheets are about 1/32″ thick.. that’s a few sheets of cardstock stacked up.DSC_0083

Here’s a great angled view of how the gold clouds catch the light so beautifully!!  I used a couple sizes of my Fiskars Cloud Punches and popped up my shapes with my go to foam adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives.  These are just fab and available in my Etsy Shop for under retail price every day.

Thank you for joining me today as I shared some my favorite paper punches and how I used them to create more elements for my layout.   Have a wonderful rest of your weekend and be safe!
