Hello friends! Katty here! This month we are teaming up with the Let’s get Sketchy Team. Were going to be swapping sketches. This week as well as next week we are working with sketches created by our very own Sara. Here is this week’s awesome sketch.

I decided to stay true to the sketch and use butterflies on my layout as well. I began with 12×12 White American Crafts Textured Cardstock.  I used the beautiful Shimmerz Paints mists in Peachy Keen, No Yoking and Cotton Candy. I sprayed them directly to my cardstock until the colors were well blended. Once dry, I used a Martha Stewart butterfly punch to punch out butterflies from the cardstock. I love the variation of color that I got.

I also added the awesome Flutter Cork Butterflies on top of some of the punched out ones. I punched out some navy blue butterflies and also matted my photo with the same navy cardstock. For my background, I used a blue patterned paper from the Cocoa Vanilla Love Always collection. I also used two strips of patterned paper on the right hand side also from the Love always collection. I then embellished with the Cocoa Vanilla Life is Beautiful ephemera pack.

For my tittle I used the word “Sweet” from the ephemera pack and the “Baby Girl are the thickers from the Pinkfresh Studio Indigo Hills collection.

I added some beautiful sequins to my butterflies. I used the blue one from the Hot Right Now mix, the orange ones from the A Day in the Woods mix and the yellow ones from the Let’s be Mermaids mix.

I love how it turned out! Here is a side by side look of the sketch and the layout.
