Mixing it Up! Krafty Hearts Day 2

Kraft-y Heart Blog Share

The Krafty Hearts are back for day 2 of our three day blog share!  Today we’re mixing it up with old and new products from the current Idea Book and the NEW Fall Idea Book that goes live August 1st!  For today’s project, I used the Close To My Heart Tommy papers for the majority of this card for my Father In Law’s birthday.  I added the HERO stamp from the Cricut Artiste bundle, and the triangle stamp from the Baby Cakes Workshop On The Go.  What a combo, hey!  I wouldn’t have thought I could mix these themes, but it totally worked.  I really liked this argyle pattern within the small triangle banner stamp.  The red burlap string is from May Arts and in my stash.

The hexagon shapes were layered and popped up with some foam adhesive and the edges of some of the papers were distressed for some added texture.  I also inked the edges of the hexagons for some more pop! 006 007

I’m so happy you stopped by to see me again today.  Please make sure you stop by Lynn and Kim’s blogs.  They’re going to inspire the heck out of you!!

I’d also love for you to follow you my blog!  I’m now linked in with the new blog reader, BlogLovin’.  You can also add your email in the form in my right side bar.

You can purchase any of the Close To My Hearts from my site HERE.  The burlap string can be found in my Etsy Shop HERE.

Don’t forget about the July Home Décor Workshop that’s over 50% off through July 31st only!!  You can join the gathering on my CTMH site and place your order there.  If you’re a local gal, I’m holding the workshop on Friday, August 23rd 7:00-9:00pm.

Happy Scrappin’!
