The Krafty Hearts are back for day 2 of our three day blog share! Today we’re mixing it up with old and new products from the current Idea Book and the NEW Fall Idea Book that goes live August 1st! For today’s project, I used the Close To My Heart Tommy papers for the majority of this card for my Father In Law’s birthday. I added the HERO stamp from the Cricut Artiste bundle, and the triangle stamp from the Baby Cakes Workshop On The Go. What a combo, hey! I wouldn’t have thought I could mix these themes, but it totally worked. I really liked this argyle pattern within the small triangle banner stamp. The red burlap string is from May Arts and in my stash.
The hexagon shapes were layered and popped up with some foam adhesive and the edges of some of the papers were distressed for some added texture. I also inked the edges of the hexagons for some more pop!
