let's scrap

gettin’ sketchy with Paper Bakery circles

Tomorrow is the first day of school for our girls! Kindergarten and 1st Grade, here they come!!  I heard several times today how excited they are for school and it made me get a little misty-eyed… I had to get it together and toughen up!  I know that they’ll be having a great time and I’ll get some Mama & Abby time on my days off 🙂

I know I’ll also get a little more creative time when Abby naps, so bonus for me!! To celebrate, I’m playing along with another Paper Bakery Sketch challenge this month.  Check out this fun sketch with all the circles.. love it!

Sketch-11

Here’s my take on the sketch and the products I used.

Papers:  Fancy Pants Down By The Shore, Echo Park Sweet Girl (yellow woodgrain clouds), Amy Tangerine’s Yes Please 6×6″ paper, Bella Blvd yellow chevron paper.

Free Printable: Chic Tags  “June 6” card

Embellishments: Simple Stories I Heart Summer Layered Stickers, Studio Calico Sundrifter Stickers, American Crafts Thickers, Fants Pants Down By The Shore paper clips and Chipboard stickers,  Basic Grey Mint Julip buttons and misc cork alphas from my stash.

I also did some more stitching on this layout, in fun circles across my layout!

I love playing along with sketches and challenges so now that school is in session I’ll get some more creative time to play!!  Stop over the Paper Bakery Blog and check out their blog and fab paper crafting kits!!

Happy scrapping!
