Easy Birthday Cards with Clique Kits

Welcome back to today!  I’m sharing a couple cards I created with my July Clique Kit, A Midnight Summer’s Dream.   So far, I’ve already created  few layouts and I’m working on my project for next Wednesday’s Clique Kits Pep Rally (Blog Share).  All these projects are starting to leave me with some smaller pieces to work with… Perfect for making cards!!

One of my favorite new products in the Clique Kits School Store is the awesome Echo Park Viewfinder Die!  This little metal die packs a fabulous punch on layouts, cards and anything else your crafty little hearts desires!  I also added a fun little Pink Fresh Studio wood veneer on top the viewfinder die cut, “Yay!”  I adore all things Pink Fresh, so check them out!  Here’s link to it HERE  and some more close ups of this card.

Next up, a graduation card mixing up the July Clique Kit, some twine from The Twinery, another Pink Fresh wood veneer and some of my favorite chevron twill from May Arts.  I added some texture by running the beautiful teal bokeh paper by Allison Kreft through my Sizzix Texture Boutique.

Here are some fun close-ups that really shows the texture and depth added by the embossing.  You’ll also get a better look at the stitching and ruffled May Arts Chevron Ribbon (video tutorial coming soon!!)
