Beautiful Easter Together, Scraplifting Kat Benjamin!

Hey y’all, Ali here! Happy August! I am so excited about this month, the Sparklers are scraplifting some super talented ladies this month. This week we are kicking it off with Kat Benjamin! She is such a sweet person and her layouts always pop! I have actually wanted to scraplift this layout since the first time I saw it, but I never got around to it! So I finally did it, woohoo!!

I loved the composition of her layout, so I really wanted to stay true to that. I started with some acrylic paints and just brushed it onto the white cardstock with a dry brush and minimal paint to create that really fun messy look. When that dried, I added some Peach Fuzz Paste-Eez through a geometric stencil to add dimension and texture…a few strips of washi tape finished off my background. I was shocked at how quickly this layout came together.

I backed my photos with some patterned paper, created the little “Easter” tag, and added my title. My finishing touches are always the super fun sequins (of course)! So I sprinkled some “What’s Up Buttercup” sequin mix throughout. The thing I love most about this mix are those adorable little flowers! They really scream Spring, and were perfect for my Easter layout!

This layout was a bit outside of my “box” but I absolutely love how Kat’s layout inspired me to get a little messy and the outcome is so fun and Easter-y! I hope you love it too!
