Happy Layout with Katty Miranda

Hello friends! Welcome back! Katty here to share a 12×12 layout with you all. I was inspired by this weeks sketch from Let’s Get Sketchy.

I started with White American Crafts textured cardstock. I decided switched it up a bit. I used one photo instead of two and rather than a full circle in the background I used a half circle cut file I purchased from JustNick. It has open florals and it is very pretty. I decided to use the Shimmerz Coloringz in Peachy Keen using the packaging technique behind the open flowers. I also added some splatters in the Peachy Keen as well as in the No Yoking. I then added a simple grey patterned paper behind my photo and placed a blue frame from the Cocoa Vanilla Life is Beautiful ephemera pack over the photo.

I sprinkled around the sequins from the 2 Cool 4 U sequin mix. I also added a yellow sequin to the centers of each flower. I used a few other pieces from the Life is beautiful ephemera pack. I even used one of the pieces, the word “Happy” as my tittle.

I added a few butterflies I had punched out as well as the Flutter cork Butterflies around the layout as well.

I also added a stripe Teresa Collins orange and white patterned paper to the sides of the layout. I love how it turned out.
