Pretty Layout with Katty Miranda

Hello friends! Katty here to share another 12×12 Scrapbook Layout with you. This week I am scrapbooking  4 pictures of my little niece on her 2nd birthday. I began with a Teresa Collins stencil that has a strip of a diagonal stripe. I used the Shimmerz Dazzlers in Lemon Zest, Dreamisicle and Pucker up Pink. I then cut up those strips of color and created a basket weave pattern with the strips. I left space between each strip so I ended up with rectangles in between. I placed that on top of a white cardstock and I added an orange polka dot paper from the Pink Paislee Memorandum collection as a frame around my layout. I added my 4 photos behind my strips. I also created shaker pockets in three of the rectangles. The sequins I used in the shaker pockets were the Sunny Smiles, Fairytale 2 and Indian Summer sequin mixes. That added a lot of fun to my layout.

For my tittle I used the word Pretty which is an acetate piece from Heidi Swapp. I added some doilies from my stash, a #2 pink paper clip and the final touch were some of the Chunky Cork Hearts. This was fun to create.
