Creative Cards With Karla – Watercolour Diamond Fold Card!

Hello friends! It’s Karla here today with a fun card folding technique to share with you – the Diamond Fold card! It’s a really easy fold that looks amazing, and anyone who receives it will totally love it!

I used some Color Burst powders to watercolour my papers, which came with a resist printed on them. The Color Bursts are so fun to work with – and it’s like a magic show every time you spritz them with water!! I used a pretty pink flower sequin from the Raspberry Daisy Dream sequin mix  and stitched it onto my loopy ribbon bow with a clear bead in the center and then added some more pretty sequins from the Summer Sunset and Let’s Be Mermaids mixes.

I used some Izink inks to colour the Cork Confetti Butterflies in to match the pretty colours on the card. I love how the texture of the cork shows through!

Here’s a look at the cork and sequins I used today, which you can find in the shop.

A bit of butterfly paper peeks out from the inside folds when the card is taken out of the envelope. I love that it tucks small enough to fit inside an envelope and then stands upright on it’s own! You can turn the card over and write a personalized message on the back for someone special.
