Artiste Mini Album with Chantilly Lace & Pretty Faces

Happy, Happy Saturday my scrappy friends!! I’m sharing a fun mini album today using the Close To My Heart Chantilly papers and my the exclusively CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge. I love making special little gifts for those special people in my life and mini’s like this are my fav! I’ll get right to it with lots of pictures to share today.

I created this fun mini for my mother in law Dolly for her sister Elaine’s visit last week. I cut my mini album pages using my Cricut Artiste Cartridge, inked lots of the edges and started piling on the layers!

Check out how I added the 4×4 Instagram pictures. I reinforced all the mini album holes with my Crop-a-dile and the large eyelets. I reinforced the holes for the photos the same way. I don’t know about some of you, but when I first started scrapbooking I bought hoards of eyelets and now hardly use them. Ok ladies, dig into that stash and use them!

I added texture of a bunch of the die cuts and pockets by running them through my Sizzix Texture Boutique. I love the extra details the dry embossing adds to die cut or any element you want to adhere to your project! Plus, it’s so fun to actually USE those tools and look so pretty just sitting there 🙂

I included a few pockets & a bunch of shipping tags also. They’re fun interactive elements that Dolly can write on or add more pictures herself.

And you should always ‘bring up the rear’ and do something pretty on the back of your mini album too! I just stamped a simple sentiment from CTMH and adhered it with more Chantilly papers.

And, you’re done! That was a lot of pictures to go through, whew! I hope that I’ve inspired you to create your own mini album with whatever supplied to you have on hand & use your Cricut and embossing tools!!

Happy Scrappin’!!
