Hello everyone, my name is Mandi and I am this month’s guest designer.  Today, I am popping in to share with you a basic A2 size card that features the Summer Paradise Sequins, Chunky Cork Hearts and Silver Stardust Sequin Confetti.  Besides those goodies, I also used paper from American Crafts, Fancy Pants Designs and My Mind’s Eye.

Here is a little tip I do to use up scraps. Create a matching envelope seal just with punches and scraps.

To create the the banner. Apply a dry adhesive of choice, I used my ATG, to a scrap of white cardstock. Sprinkle with confetti, press onto the adhesive and rub off excess. Take a manual die (this was from American Crafts) and run it through the die cutter with the pattern paper of choice. Apply your favorite dry adhesive to the back of the die cut and lay it on top of the sequin covered scrap and trim.

Don’t be afraid to stamp on cork. As you can see here cork takes hold of the ink leaving you a nice clean and crisp image.

As you can see this card as a lot of  impact without the bulk.
