Fathers Day Card with Katty Miranda

Cards, tags

Hello friends! Katty Miranda here to share a simple and fun Fathers Day Card. If you are reading this on the day it goes live and you happen to be a father then Happy Fathers Day and Happy Fathers Day to all of the special Fathers in your lives. I made this card for my boyfriend. He is a huge football fan and an amazing father. I began with a brown 12×12 cardstock. I cut it down to about 5×7 and used a Hexagon Memento embossing folder with my Texture Boutique to create some texture on the background of my card. I then cut it in the shape of a football. It isn’t perfect but I love how it turned out. I also cut some strips for the sides and faux stitching out of white cardstock. I then took some of the white flat back sequins from the Fairytale 2 Sequins and glued them over the white strips on the sides, I also layered the Gold Stardust Sequins over the white ones. I took two of the Chunky Cork Stars and placed them on the top left and bottom right of the card. I layered a gold star from the Fairytale 2 Sequins and a small mint green sequin form the Mint Chip Sequins on top of the cork stars.

To add my tittle I used some Maggie Holmes Gold Puffy letters from her Shine Collection. I also added a white cardstock layer on the inside so that I could write on the card.
