Tuesday Talent

Hi everyone, Mandi here for your Tuesday Talent series. Today, I will be focusing on the Natural Burlap String , Navy Blue Burlap String , Gold Sequin Confetti and Silver Stardust Sequin Confetti products. The pattern paper I used on this card was from Fancy Pants “Good Fellows” collection. All of these are going to be used on a fun shaker card, which just happens to work for a guy’s birthday. We all know it is hard to make a fun guy card.

The shaker frame was so easy to make.

1.  Adhered a piece of plastic (I used a piece of a page protector) to the backside of the chipboard frame.
2.  Attached foam tape (I didn’t have any so I used foam squares) alone the four edge.
3. Place sequins inside.
4. Stamp image/sentiment to pattern paper that is the same size as frame
5. adhere backing to frame.

To adhere the cork shapes, I applied adhesive to them with the x sticker maker from Xyron. I then laid the the cork stickers on top of the string, this acted as a tape to attached the string.
