Hello hello everyone! The layout I am bringing you today is of my two grandchildren at the train museum, which they totally enjoyed. Spending time with these two is a lot of fun, don’t get me wrong there is some discipline involved, well not much. They are pretty good with their Nana and I truly adore being with them and they visit I just hate to say goodbye.
With that said today is my last post with the Spiegelmom Design Team. I had so much fun with Jody and the gals on the team and I so want to do it again in the near future. All of the products that are in the shop are amazing and if you have not ordered yet, I don’t know what your waiting for… you are missing out on the best sequin mixes, texture paste, cork die cuts, felt die cuts, and many other goodies. I enjoyed using all of them on my layouts and with this layout, I used a lot of the goodies from the shop on it as well. So let’s get started!
I used some the Dazzlerz, in “Coral Me Crazy” texture paste to make the small textured circles. The sequins I used are called Passion Flower, which I spread across the top of my layout and I also used a doily from the shop. Love this!
Here is a close up of the texture paste in Coral Me Crazy and the stencil I used is from Hero Arts.
The sequins are just fabulous! Love this mixture of the Passion Flower mixture. The paper circles are punched out of some paper from my stash.
The wood veneer is from a Studio Calico kit from a while ago.
Here is a close up of the sequins again. The tissue circles are from an older Felicity Jane kit.
I thought I would do some hidden journaling, which I used a glassine bag as one of the layers so I can slide the journal card right under the photo by a tap that I stapled onto a 3×4 journal card. This is something you can do with your layout if you have a lot of embellishments covering it.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and I also want to thank all of you who have left such wonderful comments each time I posted a layout. This has been one of the best teams I have ever been on and I am going to miss it. Take care all of you and don’t forget to support Spiegelmom Scraps by stopping by the shop and placing your oder today. You can use Felicia15 till the end of the month for 15% off your order. Bye bye everyone!
Hello hello everyone! I just love getting down on the ground to take photos of a subject up close. As a photographer, this is one of the must do’s in order to capture that once in a life time master piece, well at least in my eyes, Lol. So what I did was I got down on the ground for this photo of my granddaughter who decided to pose for me and I love it! She was so good at it that I kept going later with other photos of her. If you are a photographer or just like taking photos, whether is getting up high or down on the ground, taking the perfect photo is just something that only happens once in a life time, so cherish those photos that you take and when you look back you will probably ask yourself, ” How did I do that” and then comes the story.
Take a look at this layout, where I was able to use two different kinds of sequins, Pandora’s Ombre and Magical Day in the Park, both are from the Spiegelmom Scraps shop to highlight the colors in the papers and the outfit my granddaughter is wearing.
I used the Amy Tan “Oh Happy Day” collection and yes I still have a lot of it left. I love it because of its colors. Here is a close up of the sequins Magical Day in the Park. These are my all time favorite sequins.
I also used the Pandora’s Ombre to put in the center of the die cut flowers.
I did the same for this flower, which is partly on the photo and sprinkled some at the top of the layout. These sequins make the perfect center for a flower!
Then I used some of the wash tape that came with the collection and used it as a border edge around the white cardstock and some on the cardstock.
I just love how these sequins match the papers! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to get to the Spiegelmom Scraps shop for your own goodies and you can use the code Felicia15 to receive a 15% discount on your oder! Have a wonderful day everyone!
Hello, It has surely been a while and now it’s spring! Can you believe it! Everything is totally blooming or has bloomed and life is full of fragrance. Which is why I love the new sequins that are from Spiegelmom Scraps.
Take a look at the sequins on this layout below. They are Rockin’ Pink Ombre and Spring Fever. Perfect for this layout.
These photos are of my granddaughter who loves to pretend she is a gymnast. Basically dancing around for a while. She will and for hours if you let her too and she is in her own little world. These were taken at her birthday at a gymnastics facility where she had the whole floor to herself.
This is a close up of the sequins and I love how this came out! I normally don’t mix the sequins, but I had to do it this time and I like the results. I am also using a couple of flare badges from Accent scrapbooking.
The title explains the whole layout and the photos. Lol, she really was on a role with the dancing.
The papers that I used are Basic Grey’s Urban Luxe collection and I am almost out of this collection :(. The doilies are from the Spiegelmom Scraps shop and compliment the purple cardstock.
The canvas sign is from the Basic Grey Urban Luxe collection and it is perfect for her in this layout.
Thank you so much for stopping by and be sure to go to the Spiegelmom Scraps shop to pick up your sequins. Be sure to use Felicia15 to get 15% off of your order. Have a wonderful day!
Hello hello! Have you ever had a birthday party that you just wanted to just dig your face into? Well my grandson did and it was hilarious. This was his second birthday party and he just enjoyed his cake so much. I am a huge cake fan as long as it taste good, but if it does not taste good, the cake gets a good tossing…Lol!
This layout has a bunch of Spiegelmom Scraps goodies on it. Take a look!
I used a Basic Grey collection called Urban Luxe and the ephemera pack. The cork stars are called Cork Confetti and they are from the Spiegelmom shop as well as the larger cork stars called Chunky Cork Stars. Here is a close up of the stars.
I just love how the Classic Cozy sequins match the colors of the papers!
Here is another close up of the stars. Here is the Chunky stars and the Cork Confetti stars.
The wood veneer is from my stash as well as the enamel dots.

Hello my fellow crafty peeps! Have you ever found a photo and did not want to scrap it? Well I did, for years I did not want to scrap the photo below, but I finally decided to do it this time around. It is a photo of my husband and me during our martial art years…Lol. This is just too funny!
I used a few products from the Spiegelmom shop and I even altered a wood veneer! Take a look below.
I used some Pandora’s Ombre sequins and they are just awesome! The combination of colors is just beautiful.
Here is another close up of the altered title, which I used some AcriTonez in white from the SpiegelMom Shop! I used 2 coats and then I used some stickles to give it some sparkle and some washi tape to keep a straight line while painting on the wood veneer. The white acrylic star is from one of my Felicity Jane kits.
A touch of journaling to give it a short story about the photo.
Here is another close up of those beautiful sequins…you must get these, they are awesome! The mist I used is called Blue Jeans Vibrez and that is also in the Spiegelmom Shop. The rubber embellishment is from my Felicity Jane kit along with the papers.
Thank you for stopping by and be sure to get to the Spiegelmom Shop for some goodies of your own. Oh and be sure to use the code Felicia15 to get 15% off your first order! Have a great and marvelous day!
Hello again my scrappy friends! Here with a layout featuring my grandson again and his many faces and acts that constantly keeps me in stitches…lol! He is a character and in this photo, it shows some of what he loves to do. I remember when my children were small and some of things they did were not funny to me at that time. Now that I have grandchildren, everything they do is hilarious! I don’t understand it, but I think its funny. That is why some people are more happy being grandparents than parents…lol.
Below is used a couple of products from the Spiegelmom Scraps shop. Take a look!
I used some canvas tags that have been in my stash forever it seems like. The paper is from October Afternoon, an older collection.
You can see the Cork Confetti from the Spiegelmom Shop up close. Boy do I love how that came out. Also the chip board is from Crate Paper Cool Kid collection.
The sequins are called Magical Day In The Park by the Spiegelmom Scraps and I have been using these like crazy on my layouts so much, I am going to need a replacement pack soon.
Ahhhh these are so nice and I finally got them even! Lol, I am know for not getting things even on my scrap pages..
For a last minute touch, I added these word strips in place of journaling not the layout from Tim Hotlz. This saves me time and also the strips say everything I wanted to say in the journaling.
I want to thank you guys for stopping by today and be sure to use my code Felicia15 to receive 15% discount on your first order! Be sure to stop by the Spiegelmom Shop and get your goodies today. Bye for now!
Hello hello! Have you ever done something and then look back on it and ask yourself, “Wow did I really do that?”. Well I have and I probably won’t do it again, but at least I tried it once. What I did was I actually went on a tram that was over 9,000 feet high! Yes, you heard me, 9,000 feet. On the way up it was really beautiful and I was able to get a lot of photos, but on the way down, I got a little motion sickness because of the speed of the tram, which was quicker than going up to the mountain top. It was a great adventure and I have memories from it, but I will not go on a tram for a while. On that note, check out the layout below!
So on this layout I used some Shimmerz spray in Blue Jeans to create the design on the back ground of this layout and a stencil by Prima.
The sequins that I used on this layout are called 2 Cool for U and they in the Spiegelmom Scraps shop and they match perfectly with the colors on the layout. Here’s a close up of the design on the layout. The alphas are from my Felicity Jane kit, Sophia.
Here is a close up of the journaling, which I did diagnaly on the layout for effect.
Another close up of the sequins from the Spiegelmom Scraps shop.
I used one of my Fiskars punches to create the border strip decoration on the bottom of the layout.
Thank you for joining us here on the Spiegelmom Scraps blog and be sure to check out the shop for more beautiful sequin mixes like this and more. Don’t forget to use the code Felicia15 to get your 15% discount! Have a wonderful day!
Hello hello! Felicia here with a layout using multiple products from the Spiegelmom shop. I had to use this photo of my grandson because of the smiles that he always gives me when I take his photo. There has never been a time when he has not smiled for me when I decided to follow him around with the camera. This photo was taken when he was 3 years old, hence the number 3 on the layout and the camera loves him.
I am also using a sketch from Victoria Marie, which came in handy for these double photos.
I used some papers and embellishments from my stash and for the background paper I used some water color paper for the Vibez spray in Blue Jeans. When ever I don’t have paper to match my photos I use spray inks for the background to match my photos. The cork stars are from the Spiegelmom shop.
I just love the little shorts! Lol, I just had to use them. The sequin mix are called Magical Day in the Park, which matched the background perfectly.
Take a look at the Cork Confetti stars nestled among the embellishments and sequins.
I just love how this turned out! Once I was done I put droplets of the Vibez spray on the layout.
Thank your stopping by and be sure to stop by the Spiegelmom Shop for the same goodies that are on the layout. There is so much variety in the shop and I am sure you will most definitely find some really awesome goodies! Use Felicia15 for a 15% discount off your order.
Have a wonderful day!!
Hello! Well I am back again with a layout featuring one of my trips to the museum and I just had to do this photo. This is a 8 X 10 photo of one of the main trains that was on exhibit, which is a huge part of California history. This particular train was a main transport in lumber, food, and other things needed to build California. I was amazed at how big this train was and what materials they built it with, real iron! The iron used to build this train was pure, which made for a seriously heavy train.
I used some cork circles from my stash and some Gold Stardust sequins from the Spiegelmom Scraps shop. Here a closer look!
I just love how this came together! I put some of the sequins by the title, which is perfect and the letters are from Freckled Fawn embellishment kit.
Here is a closure look at a different angle.
The papers I used on this layout are from Simple Stories and the enamel dots are from My Mind’s Eye.
Thank so much for stopping by and be sure to visit the Spiegelmom Scraps shop for some goodies of your own and be sure to use Felicia15 to receive 15% discount on your order!
Hello there everyone! I had the privilege last month to visit the train museum and I lots of fun. The last time I had been to this museum was on a field trip when my children were in the elementary level. It has changed quite a bit since then and the exhibits are a lot bigger than the last time I remembered. There was one train in particular that stood out because of the red wheels and trim on it, I just had to take a photo of this train and would not mind riding on it either! Lol!. There is a lot of California history and this train is part of it. Take a look!
Love the color scheme of this layout, it matches the train photo perfectly!
Here is a closer look at the new texture past from Shimmerz called Brick Wall and I love it! It is the perfect shade of red and the texture is nice and rough, which made for the awesome intertwined swivels. I used a stencil of course to achieve the symmetrical look of the swirls.
Wow! This is a really nice! I enjoyed using the Brick Wall texturez paste, it reminds me a little bit of railroad tracks. The collection I used is the Simple Stories Live Life In Color, Love the color and it matches the train photo perfectly!
The sequins are called Holly Berries, although this is not a christmas layout, you can still use the Spiegelmom Scraps sequins to decorate any page or pocket page layout.
Just thought you might like to get a close up of the sequins! I just love them and Jody does an awesome job of mixing the sequins. There are so many to choose from and you won’t be disappointed either!
I want to thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed the layout. If you want you can use my discount code Felicia15 and you can receive 15% discount on your first order! So what are you waiting for? Click on the button above and get your own sequins! Have a wonderful day!
Hello! Felicia here with a pretty cool layout featuring my grandson when he was about 2 years old in the snow for the first time. He had a ball and he wanted to stay out there for hours, but it was really cold in South Lake Tahoe around January. We had bought him one of those snow ball makers to make snow balls with. When I was a child growing up on the east coast, we had to make our own snow balls and it was fun.
In this layout I am using some texture paste and some sequins from the Spiegelmom Scraps shop called Silver Stardust.
I just love how the Stardust sequins look on this layout! I even put one in the center of the snow flake die cut.
Here is another close up look at the Stardust sequins along next to the title.
I also used a flair badge from Cuts2luv, which you must check out as well.
Here are more sequins at the spread out around by the puffy stars from the Snow and Cocoa collection.
Thank you so much for stopping by and be sure to check out the Spiegelmom Shop for more goodies and some new goodies as well. The shop is now loaded so don’t forget to use code Felicia15 to get your 15% discount.
Hello there! It is freeeeezing here in Sacramento and I for one do not care for it. I grew up on the east coast, New York to be exact and it as colder there! Lately we have been experiencing a bit of colder weather and bundling has been sounding pretty good lately! So this photo of my grandchildren was taken in November just before it started getting cold and they are in short sleeve shirts and it so reminded me that spring will be here just wait it out! Lol
On this layout I am using some of my favorite embellishments called Love Beats Mix and i just love the way this layout came out with them just smiling away and looking very happy, that’s before the cold, Lol.
I also used a tool that I have not used in a while, the We R Memory Keepers Sew Ribbon tool. That is how I got the red ribbon on the right threaded through the paper.
I was also able to use the cut files from a previous kit and I finally found a home for them on this layout. The journaling is on the back of the layout because I did not want to mess up the look of the layout.
I used some papers from Studio Calico and cut it into 4 strips and used them to stick the die cuts into the strips.
Love how this looks! I have wanted to find a home for these die cuts and I just love the way this comes out on the layout!
Love the look of the Love Beats Mix and how the heart shape ones look! They are so red and they provide a nice pop of color on the layout. Below I just happen to have a die cut saying Heartbeat, which matched the heart shaped sequins.
Thank you so much for stopping by and be sure to check out the SpiegelMom Scraps shop for some awesome sequin mixes! Be sure to use Felicia15 to get your 15% discount on your order! Have an awesome day!! Also be sure to check out the specials below!
Hello hello! Don’t you just love winter! Well my grandson did and he had a ball with his first experience in the snow. He made snow balls, actually we got him a snow ball maker and then he made them, Lol. I grew up in the snow on the east coast in New York and we so looked forward to the first snow falling and of course when the schools would close due to snow storms.
So in this layout is David my grandson with his cute little rosy cheeks with his nicely made snow ball.
In this layout I used some Classic Cozy sequins from the SpiegelMom Scraps shop, which I am almost out of (sigh), but I have to get some more soon.
The pegquin is so cute! He is from the the Crate Paper Snow Cocoa collection. It was a paper clip, but I cut him it and used him just as a rubber embellishment.
I used a couple of snow flake dies from Technique Tuesday and I love the look of these snow flakes.
The red Brrr is also from the Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa collection, it is the perfect shade of red for the layout.
I used some Thickers called Sunny for the title and I just love the sparkle that it gives the layout. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the SpiegelMom shop to get 10% off of clearance items in the shop! Use discount code 10SALE and have an awesome day!
Hello everyone and welcome! Felicia here with a very funny photo of two lovelies in my life and I have to say they keep me laughing all the time. I had asked them to act normal before snapping this photo and this is what they did, Lol! Too funny! Having my two grandchildren over is a blessing and I enjoy it every time they come visit.
So I changed my photo to black and white in order to use my favorite embellishments, which are the new sequins from the Speigelmom Scraps Shop called Amore. Take a look!
Lol! I just can’t get over this photo! Here is a close up of the sequins.
The papers and ephemera are from the Paige Evans Take Me Away collection and I love how the Amore sequins match the collection permanently.
I had to use that chipboard bow to fill in the gap at the top of the layout.
Thank you for stopping by and be sure to check out the new sequins in the Spiegelmom Scraps shop! You can also use Felicia15 to get a 15% discount on your order so have fun!
Hello hello everyone and Happy Thanksgiving! We are still teaming up with Let’s Get Sketchy and this sketch is by Brenshevia who came up with an amazing sketch! I just love this sketch and how versatile it is.
So here is my take on the sketch. I used some papers from Simple Stories along with some of my favorite embellishment, the Classic Cozy mix from Spiegelmom Scraps. If you have not gotten your sequin mix already, what are you waiting for! This layout is about my last cup of coffee for the year, Eggnog Latte, for the last three years 2013, 2014, and 2015. I been taking a photo of me drinking this delicious coffee because it comes only around once a year.
I used some of the coffee cups from my Freckled Fawn embellishment kit, which worked out perfect. The title is a mixture of Heidi Swap alphas and the stars are from Simple Stories. Take look at the top of the layout where the Classic Cozy sequins are located.
This is where I used the Heidi Swap alphas in black for the title, which I love.
The cute little puffy coffee cup makes me want to go get a latte right now! Lol, but I have to demonstrate self control…somewhat..:)
Oh how I just love the way this turned out.
Thank you for stopping by and be sure to check out the Spiegelmom Scraps shop for your Classic Cozy sequins and lots of other goodies as well. Be sure to use Felicia15 to get 15% off of your purchase in the shop. Take care!
