Trendy Tuesday Layout with Katty Miranda

Hello friends! Welcome back! Katty here to share a Birthday themed 12×12 Scrapbooking layout. I began with a yellow polka dot patterned paper from my stash. I used a black and white bold stripe patterned paper from Teresa Collins to back the layout. I only wanted it peeking out on the sides. I am using two black and white photos of my older son on his 12th Birthday earlier this month. I began by matting the photos with a few layers. I used the Black Diagonal Stripe Bag in Black right behind my photo. I then layered a few patterned papers from an American Crafts 6×6 paper pad. I also scattered around some stickers and die cuts from the Simple Stories Let’s Party Collection.

I layered some of the teal and red sequins from the Believe in You Sequin Mix over the Chunky Cork Stars and scattered those around the page.

I then added some thin strips of two of the patterned papers as well as a row of the teal sequins from the Believe in You Sequin Mix to the left side of the layout.

I also created a small cluster on the right hand side where I added mt date on one of the tabs from the Simple Stories die cuts.
